Press Release: 8-6-19 Somewhere in the Colorado Mountains Top Shelf Signs Portuguese International Pepe Top Shelf today announced the signing of 36-year-old Portuguese International Pepe. Most recently having played for Porto, he spent his most productive years with Real Madrid. While he has traditionally played center back, he will be moving into the Top Shelf midfield where he can make better use of his cheating and deceitful ways. When asked what quality he will bring to the TS midfield, Pepe replied, “In this position I will be closer to the referee so he can better see my artful flops, and my cheap fouls will not be in danger of giving up penalty kicks” Apparently, he is a 24-year-old attacker from the Ivory Coast. Top Shelf Director of Player Procurement was quoted as saying, “Who knew there were two Pepes?”
@Journeymen is a big softie. He can wax on about being at work but I know he kept his pencil lead dry to allow me to have my Kieren. Bless you @Journeymen
Busy transfer market and more to be added to the game. Glad I woke up first. Double BHA was probably not a winning strategy.
Good luck this season everyone. I'm looking forward to playing in the league, bantering, and discoursing.
Feck it, it looks like Ozil is now in the witness protection program! At least I got rid of his bodyguard Kolasinac who is also on the run from these bandits...
sleep in and you miss finding religion but will this weekend be the highlight of the season for Origi and Jesus
I would have seriously considered grabbing Origi but he's been snapped up very quickly. I can see him scoring quite a few this season from off the bench and from some starts. I think he's convinced Klopp now that he is more than good enough to be considered as a viable rotation option and an impact sub as well.
