I suggest we get the ball rolling on the Post-Hal era for small rocks. I am willing to facilitate things and get the ball rolling. I will need everyone's contact info: Name, Team name, time zone, email address and phone number. PM the info to me. I will set up a league on the FPL site and send the code to join when I receive your info. I will be out of town this weekend so be patient with me getting the code to you.

Be thinking about a start date to draft. Matches begin August 10. We probably need to be drafting no later than Aug 1. Cheers to all! It is getting close.

It's good to be in the top league after 3 straight promotions, my remit now will be the stay here!

It's a shame we are struggling to fill 3 divisions, the new draft format seems to be the main contributing factor for this.

Well we are at two at this point. WC is over and we really need to get everyone on board. See my first post for info and the code to join. Thanks Journeyman for getting your info to me. I figure we have two weeks until we need to be drafting.

We have 7 out of 8 who have checked in and received the code to join. Still waiting on Wendys/Top Shelf but I don't expect he will be long in returning.

We need to consider a date to begin the draft. We are spread from London GMT to California. The spread is 8 hours which seems very doable.

Lobo has requested we use the original format of the Penn Lotto system to determine the draft order. We have been using a draft randomizer for a number of years now. I am ok either way and will defer to the majority of those who chime in.

hey I will be in the mountains from July 28-31st. I will probably have sketchy service. Hopefully, someone on either side of me in the draft can text me?

When were we thinking of starting?

August 1 would give us 8 days to complete the draft and set our teams. I don't think we should start any later. We need to commit to getting three rounds in each day or better if possible. Seems like we have always been able to complete it in 5 days. If anyone feels we need an earlier start please feel free to contribute.

1st August is fine by me.

I will always leave proxy selections (usually with @kopiteinkc ) if I know I won't be around for a while.

I am ok starting this week. Just may be a little slow over the weekend. I usually proxy all the way through.

Sounds like we are moving to begin Aug 1. We still need Top Shelf to check in and a couple of teams to join the league. Also have only heard from two on their draft preference. Penn Lotto or draft randomizer.

I've no idea what the difference is between the two? This just relates to how we determine the snake draft order correct? I've never heard of the Penn Lotto system...

    Penn Lotto is what was first often used for several years, started by OG member Clan,;

Everybody submits a number between 0-999 to Glorydaze after he submits his number to a neutral, once all in, the next or pre-designated draw of the "Pick 3" Pennsylvania lottery Day or Evening is used.

Closest to drawn Pick 3 number from either direction sets the order.

    Okay, thanks for the explanation.

I can't say I consider the draft order process to be part of the experience so I don't care either way. The randomizer seems much simpler though.
