On what? Its own channel or on FSW? Its own channel would be more of a logistical and carriage problem than a legal or rights reason, I would imagine.
A dedicated channel. I know it can be hard to find room; perhaps just a dream that will have to go unfulfilled, but can you imagine how great it would be to check in with Sky anytime day or night?
SKY is available all over europe... it is truly confusing that in this day and age, that the states can not recieve this feed... also, you cant beat the people in europe.. just some of the finest lads~~

I enjoy Sky Sports News for the perspective it provides US viewers, but the fact it doesn't have same-day rights to the highlights of the Saturday games makes it pretty useless for the one thing you really want it for: highlights of the Saturday games. If I recall, it often doesn't have highlights of England matches, either, for the same reason. Fox Sports Report is thus much preferable in that regard. Also, 24 hours of rugby and cricket in the summer would be a little much for my tastes.

I think fewer than 10 countries actually have full test cricket sides. It's hardly huge everywhere but the United States.

Is Sky officially available in other countries in Europe? because I always think you need a U.K./Irish address to subscribe to Sky, a French address to sub to Canal Satellite, a Spanish address to sub to Via Digital, an Italian address to sub to Telepiu, etc. Or have they allow cross-country subscription within the E.U.? How about subbing Sky not in the E.U., like in Russia? As far as subbing Sky from Europe, I found this web-site http://www.sky4europe.com/subscriptions.asp looks very much like a gray market subscription to me, especially you pay by credit card for a year, and you have to pay 225 pounds for the box. On the other hand, Sky advertises on its web-site that U.K. residents can get the box dirt cheap (the IRD/dish free and 1 pound for installation). http://www.sky.com/skycom/article/0,,90010-1078333,00.html This is very similiar to the scenarios for American residents subbing Canadian DBS, i.e. grey market.
When Rupert Murdoch gets control of DirecTV officially, perhaps Sky News and/or Sky Sports News will be added.
