Sky News To Be On Directv

    per showbizdata.com Sky News will reportedly be on DirecTv starting in July, don't know if sky news
    will carry sky sports news on their channel or not
    or if they will show some sort of sports update..

    Also, if you are in the right neighborhood in Philly, Time Warner (Urban Cable) currently carries Fox Sports World (Channel 168) which carries Sky Sports every evening.

    Sky News is like CNN (actually more like Fox News) They may carry some sports but I doubt we'll get the 24/7 ESPN Newsish type of coverage.

    The first round in the Rupert Murdoch DTV takeover begins. SkyNews will have sports news as part of their regular schedule, and they may have a half-hour or hourly wrapup show, but Sky Sports is another set of channels entirely.
