disgraceful being forced to pay to watch on TV. apparently those greedy clubs even charge fans to go and watch at the stadium too. Not like 20 years ago when you could watch any match live for free eh?
Right because what attendences do domestic club rugby games get? Where is the (rugby) Premiership shown? Where is the Heineken Cup shown? (Clue: The answer is Sky) Before Sky you got to watch one game a week in the league if you were lucky, now you get 2 league games a weekend on Sky plus two more on Prem+. There were seasons when the league was not even shown on TV. If it wasn't for Sky the game between Arsenal and Villareal would not be on TV at all. ITV lost out on showing Coronation Street, by having CL on Wednesday nights, that is why they moved their coverage to Tuesdays. If you are too tight to get Sky or go down the pub then fine, but don't think that if Sky went away that you would get to see this game.
