Wilkinson is back. He is either going to be amazing or get injured. If he gets injured again i will have lost all hope for him.

Ireland are favourates. Dont know if they can do it though.

    This weekends fixtures:
    England v Scotland
    Italy v France
    Wales v Ireland

Yes, sorry for the wrong post earlier. I was mistaken : France Télévision can't broadcast rugby outside of France due to contractual limitations. I wonder why ... it's not as if rugby were broadly diffused in the world by the big TV channels. Maybe the IRB doesn't want people to actually see the games.

Actually any big sports channels show it.

And the BBC dont want people in the UK watching some French website and losing ratings. Neither do the Italian and Irish broadcasters.

Anyone know where I can find video highlights (specifically Ireland/Wales and all Ireland matches)?

    Thanks.

Hmmm I was pretty impressed with France's display against Italy but Ireland should still be favourties for the title. Great games by Chabal and Skrela.

    Italy were lucky.

Despite Chris Cusiter's stupidity we still would have won had Chris Paterson (statistically the best kicker in world rugby) bothered to take points when they were available. He chose not to and Italy were then able to play out time and force errors from our frustration. There's no way we should have lost, despite the disgraceful start. Very bad day at the office for all concerned and completely unnecessary.

Nothing happened. Apart from the 43-13 scoreline.

I don't think it was luck per se but the fact that Italy showed up to play and Scotland didn't. If Italy's victory was due only to luck, they would have won by a just a few points and not by 20. England beat Scotland by 22 points at Twickenham and I don't think anyone from Scotland said that England was lucky. Face it, Scotland had their asses handed to them by a clearly better Italian team.

Mr.Rabbit is correct. All credit to Italy. Italy are improving every year and Scotland are getting worse.

    Breakwood, England will beat France.

Not at all. Terrible start aside it was poor decision making when it came to penalty chances that cost us. We dominated the match and managed to fight back to within 7 points but the Italian defense played exceptionally well and then capitalised on our frustration late on to pull away and get a scoreline that flattered them.

El-ahrairah - Apart from the bogus try the difference was Wilkinson and his ability to take the penalty situations that came his way. Scotland have Paterson to do that but against Italy he flatly refused to take the penalty chances that came our way and that was the difference.

bytheway - What does that make Wales?

Which proves my point. Italy's team showed up to win and Scotland's team was busy doing something else which didn't involve winning.

Wales are a good team with alot of very good players. Two years ago they proved this. At the moment they are not performing to their protential but with the players they have there still is hope they can turn things around (though i hope they dont).

I hope Scotland can improve. But to me they just seem to be going downhill very year.
Just a feeling i have. They need to put in a big performance after Ireland.
