Just got the scoop on Bradley's upcoming moves.

Cienfuegos to LA for a Conditional 2005 pick.
Discovery Option on Raul Diaz Arce. The thinking is the Salvadoran Connection plus RDA's familiarity with Jaime will set the team up well.

Then, Jolley is going to San Jose for Jeff Agoos, and the allocation is headed to cap-troubled New England for Carlos Llamosa.

    So...

    Howard
    Ziadie, Pope, Llamosa, Agoos
    Richie, Balboa?
    Clint, Cien
    Jaime, RDA

The next thing you'll say is that Lothar isn't coming back.

Are these predictions as reliable as your January 5 statement that Andy Williams would be gone from the Metros' roster within 2 days?

Why would we trade Jolley for a defender who is older, more expensive and, arguably, not any better?

highly unlikely, vistula.... Diaz Arce has moved his family to Charleston and has started a 'Tahuichi-like' soccer academy there. I'd doubt he'd leave all that behind to play for Metro.

Vistula is just having fun starting rumors that have no basis in anything.. Ignore it.

I just woke up from a nap. This post blows my mind. It is a loaded diaper, indeed.

And if it turns out to be true, I will boo Agoos the moment he steps onto our field, til the moment he is substituted, come opening day.

I gotta go take a leak (on my future Agoos Metro bubblegum card).

I'm also hearing that Bradley will keep AWill now, and groom him behind Cien, plus he's been reading the boards and considering AWill as a wide player.

    Re: Total BS

Sweet! RDA ties Roy Myers record of being a three-time Metro.

Cienfuegos for a 2005 pick ... I thought we traded away all those already

Jolley for Agoos, keeps T-Ho's mind on the game ... always looking for that potential own goal

And we get rid of that pesky allocation for a player about to be released/retire ... nice!

Now if we can only trade Clint to the Charleston Battery for Eric Wynalda we're all set.

I just heard that we are going to trade every pick we have remaining in perpetuity for the rights to Harkes, Ramos will serve as player-assistant coach, and we are calling ourselves MetroStars Classic. We're also going back to the retro 1996 jerseys.

    This is a BigSoccer exclusive.

Can we start calling Harkes "Captain for Perpetuity"?

Pope, Llamos and Agoos on the backline? If this isn't a wanna-be DC United revival attempt, I don't know what is! I thought you guys hated those guys - why do you want to put together their reunion tour?

Y'all are sillier than he thought. He's obviously lampooning the selection of an aging Cienfuegos as the new Metro 10.

    Whooo Ha!

  25. LLamosa, Balboa & Agoos on the back line? I suppose that would be cheaper than actually building speed bumps on the new artificial surface.
