Sir Bobby Robson: MLS is Second Rate

    I do not have a problem with people sticking up for the league.
    We...or most of us know that MLS is not as bad or as good as what is written but it is ours and people are apt to defend it.

    Isn't that the passion that eurosnobs and commentors say is lacking about MLS? I find it quite surprising that I was an Arsenal fan before MLS started play and now I find that I follow the happenings of the Revs and MLS with far more passion than Arsenal.

    Just saying...back to the rants!!

    This just in: Sir Monster Rod Von Hugenstein, O.B.E., claims MLS is "Second Rate."

    Apparently Robson was on to something.

    Ok.. I'll bite.

    Then why come to a 2nd/3rd/ w/e league to begin with?

    I think the point is Becks came here to promote the game and the league, and suddenly decides greener pastures beckon his prescence..

    I love the excuse, "playing with world class players is better than playing with the Galaxy." NO shit.. That isnt the point. The point is Beckham came here fully knowing that, and now he takes the path of convenience.
