Found a waffle maker on Amazon for $20, it'l be here this afternoon. Given the fact that I'll probably make waffles 3-5 times a year, this is a perfect price point. For those asking "why not just buy a box of Eggos if you're not going to make waffles very often?" - Have you ever had hashbrowns from a waffle iron? Or stuffing? Or, dare I say it, grilled cheese? No. I think it was actually a George Foreman branded one. Four round pancakes at a time, as opposed to one that's the size of the whole plate.
How did this discussion never come up in the Megathread???? Also, French toast > waffles or pancakes. Get yourself some decent quality bread, and, with the eggs, you got yourself a more nutritious breakfast.
