I hear rumors that both of these guys are damaged goods. Can anyone either confirm or refute these rumors?

Kreis came out of Saturday's scrimmage with an injury. No idea about the severity.

Simo had a major injury last year, but as far as the Derby supporters have told us he is injury free this year. His limited playing time was due to being out of favor with the Derby boss.

Heck no. Believe it or not Hitman, I am a Burn fan. And while we don't need to get into all that mess again, I differ with mgmts. decision making. However, I always want the red and black to prevail. Kreis is my son's hero. I personally like many of the Burn players. I just simply wish we had a balance of other types as well. But, that is neither here nor there.

A very speculative and unreliable source told me that Kreis was having the same problems and that they thought that Simo was not physically cleared to play nor practice. I think that this is just simply someone exaggerating info that has been previously posted. To be sure, I asked to see if someone could clarify. Please do not read anymore into that comment.

Simo is back in the UK getting his visa, which is why he is not with the team. Perhaps your source mis-interpreted his absence from the Saturday scrimmage as an injury?

The list is incomplete. Don't forget
    Pareja
    Gbandi
    Quill
    Talley

This year's collection of players does not inspire much confidence from a health perspective.

Not to mention that one well placed hit on O'Brien could knock him out as well.

Kreis did come out of the game saturday. I hope to find out tomorrow what is going on with him.

Simo practiced in Spaim and looked 100% fit to me. He would not have been cleared to train if he did not pass his MLS/Burn physcial. Toni, DJ, and Davis all had to sit out training when the arrived for spring from whereever they were. That is standard procedure.

Simo was not allowed to play in the game he was around for in Spain as Derby will not clear him to play until he gets his visa for insurance liability reasons. They are covering their buts.

The Kreis rumor is now being circulated as fact. Can anyone clarify the extent of the damage and the date or likelyhood of his return?

When is Gbandi expected to be fit? And what is the nature/extent of his injury?

    Thanks in advance.
