http://www.soccerbyives.net/soccer_...e-toronto-fc-players-arrested-in-houston.html Can't even run away from cops. That's how bad this has gotten.
i wonder what started the fight. fan: you guys are the worst team in the world! aceval: what you say bish?
Aceval...i'm not surprised. but the involvement of Silva and Soolsma leads me to believe they wouldn't of started the altercation. either way, hilarious.
Globe and mail article: Sounds to me like Aceval was the one in the fight, Silva backed him up, and Soolsma got arrested for being with them
LOL. Who was stupid enough for trying to run? This is hilarious though... https://twitter.com/DomsDisciples/status/214782514991071237/photo/1
I'd like to apologize on behalf of Miguel Aceval: it is not your guys' fault Chilean players make boneheaded decisions off the field or are straight up dumb. In fact, currently there are almost 10 players (yes, 10) internally suspended by either the Chilean FA or the coaching staff of the national team for breaches of discipline during international duty. In short, I am not surprised by Aceval's behavior because this issue is almost endemic within Chilean soccer. Again, I apologize.
i have no knowledge of the issues in Chile that you speak of......but soccer players (any pro athletes really) getting drunk and misbehaving is not unique to Chile/Chileans.......it is a world wide phenomenom. even this incident is international in its participants.
Well I didn't say it's unique to Chile but it happens very often to/with Chilean players: that's the point I am making.
The G&M report said that de Guzman paid the bail for them. Makes me wonder how many more guys were involved in this night out?
