Yes, but that was in a different era of MLS, and he was quite a different kind of player. I don't think old foreign strikers are needed in MLS these days. It's a young man's league, really. Signori would probably end up pouting over perceived lack of service and make American fans hate Italians.
If he was in better health, I'd be all for it. But he's only had @50 starts in the last 3 years. Not horrible but still you have to wonder how much longer that 36 year old body will take the punishment of profesional sport.
Donadoni was still good when he played in MLS... he ended up going back to Italy and playing one or two more seasons for AC Milan.
this is right on, hopefully MLS and Beppe arent thinking about it.. Signori had a great career, some huge seasons and was never really given proper credit. He's one of the best strikers of his era...
