Maybe, though Jackson lighting up the Bundesliga is a much safer bet than Gyokeres scoring a bunch here: he did next to nothing in the two away games.

We have a long-standing problem of failing to showcase potential talents that we want to move on.

Look at how we’ve used Reiss Nelson over the years versus how Liverpool used Harvey Elliott or Jarell Quansah.

Liverpool appear to have screwed this one up, by leaving it until the last day. I assume they were hoping to get a bigger discount because he is out of contract at the end of the season.

Added note.... unless we exercised an option his contract expires next summer so this is officially goodbye.

Konate is injured now and the way he limped off may be out for a while.

Berta apparently got all the business done. Arsenal may not have gotten the fees we hoped they would get on the outgoings but with options and obligations they may see those fees next summer. Now Berta has time to focus on renewing Saka and Saliba’s contracts. Acomplish that and I’d say he is an unquestionable success.

Looked more like a cramp to me the way he was trying to stretch his quad. But, of course, I don't have a medical or even a PT degree. :D

Probably - his best move would have been to bvb though

it’s still early for gyokeres… we didn’t do him any favors by dumping balls to him in corner of the pitch

ekitike looked all world first three matches but agains us… he was non existent

    will see

Ekitike looked good against us too, Liverpool just had trouble getting the ball forward.

For a young CB to go in against the reigning league Champs in their stadium and play the way he did, bodes well for Arsenal.

I wasn’t really worried about him temperament

He has nearly 100 appearances and played at the Camp Nou and Bernabeau—Valencia won at Madrid last season with him in a three.

It’s just adjusting to the league.
