It's objective... based upon statistical data, demographics, and sorted by predicted attendance... that being said, doubt that will be a popular banner
I would get a hold of the massive banner that some Celtic guys hung up after beating ManU in the return fixture of the CL encounter last Nov. It was in the upper deck of Parkhead Stadium and was a lil devil gettin' stabbed by the Notre Dame leperchaun. It read: MAN WHO? Just add HEY BECKS! for our MLS ASG.
That's the Rev die hards for ya. Clueless. FWIW Scotti=Irish in Latin and for sure the Scotti were a old school tribe of the Celtic peoples of Europe. Thus the Romans called Eire=Hibernia and that translates roughly to 'the land of the eternal winter' IIRC, yet they called the land in the area of North Britania and those that lived there 'Scotti'. There were also the Pics which comes from Pictar (sp?) for Latin=to paint and is for "the painted people" the Romans encounterd up there. Simply put Scotland is odd in its name when talking association football at the club level in that it is old school for 'Land of Irish'. (Don't tell a Rangers die hard that!) So indeed the concept of a soccer club like Celtic FC being more than a team and certainly more of a symbol to a tribe of people that is beyond the scope of Glasgow's city limits is rooted in actual history. So says the Romans, but they were the conquerers.

Not sure where you'll find a link to it, but it refers to a child abuse scandal that went on at Celtic over 30 years ago, but the details (which did come out) only came out in the last 5 years or so. Many Rangers fans believe that "Big Jock" Stein, who was Celtic's Manager at the time, helped cover it up.
