Just thought many of you would either appreciate or be shocked by this. Ever since FC NY self relegated themselves to NPSL i hadn't heard anything about them. But now comes this story---FC NY has accepted sponsorship from an anonymous donor who insisted that in return they put the Romney campaign logo on their jerseys!!!

I honestly cant believe that at one point this team talked about itself as being a "viable" alternative to Red Bull and there was even talk among the fans that maybe in a few years they might buy their way into MLS. How far away that all seems now..........

I don't see the difference between BMO, Red Bulls, BIMBO and Romney, at the contrary all of them are the same...MONEY...MONEY...MONEY...That is why all of them are in the same boat, to navigate up river to the sea of MONEY or wherever the money is.....

Well that money has bought us a nice stadium, some household names and has improved our squad significantly.

Big difference. The NPSL rules say no political or religious advertising. For this and many other sins, FC NY got it's club charter yanked by the league. They are out as of this week, sadly it came to late to save the Red Bulls from a loss out at Mitchel.

 I cant believe that article---just amazing the number of things that were either done deliberately wrong or that they let happen because they didn't care. Either way it's unacceptable. It's sad to see that apparently the circumstances leading to self relegation taught this team nothing. It looks like a clown show all over again.

Woodrow-- Am I understanding you correctly? NPSL has expelled FC NY from the league?
If true this has to be an alltime low point...
What might be next for this team? PDL, USASA or USCS? Bankruptcy?

Hopefully they will cease to exist in the near future.

Wolyniec was always class--glad to see the organization recognize this by giving him a job within it.
He was not an "Henry" type, but he was the type of player fans in this area loved for his work ethic and willingness to do whatever it took.

WOL-NEE-AK---lol gives me giggles just thinking about that fox soccer announcer.....:ROFLMAO:

Yeah it's good to see former players still remain within the organization. Guys like Woly and Petke are great guys to have in the organization.
