si.com soccer editor (Mr.) Jen Chang reportedly has interviewed with Fenway Sports Group for the Director of Communications position opening at Liverpool FC. Mr. Chang has a degree from the London School of Economics. He was with ESPN.com before moving over to si.com. If Mr. Chang can speak Mandarin Chinese and can write both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, then he has a leg up on the competition.

I heard this Friday morning amongst the other Liverpool sackings - being termed a "clear out" and just what FSG wanted to do from the beginning. I suppose Jen will have a big role in the upcoming reality show as well. I wonder how long the hardcore Liverpool faithful will go along with this "Americanization" especially if results don't follow and if they feel they're losing the soul of the club.
