    After reading this:

    "They played spurts of good soccer against Houston, finished three of their good chances, and won the game 3-2. I think we'll throw the Kansas City 2-0 rain/snow/wind/sleet misadventure in the waist basket and not analyze it too much."

    My question is...what's a "waist basket"?

    Methinks someone has confused the food thread with game analysis.

    The "waist basket," is a basket that you wear around your mid-section in lieu of a belt.
