Lots of swift and elegant attacks from both sides and dueling keystone cop backlines to boot, I'd take the OVER on that match up!

So, Liverpool lose 1-0 at Wigan.

    4) Spurs - played 28 games - 49 points

    5) Man City - played 27 games - 49 points

    6) Liverpool - played 29 games - 48 points

    7) Aston Villa - played 26 games - 45 points

Everybody has a decent shot to get it... except Liverpool obviously.

we just need to take care of some business on the road. only 10 games left, and every game is crucial. this will be the difference between Europa or Champions League.

Villa is the one i fear. Although their general form in March is atrocious .. they have three in hand (although that is only one more than us) and only four points behind.

only one in hand compared to us. we have a game at home against villa. i am not too concerned.

I just hope the FA cup doesn't go to a team that will finish below 7th. worst comes to worst, at least we can play in Europe. Even if we go on a slump, we'll finish top 7th. There's no way Everton can catch up to us.

Great Point, That means we have to root against Fulham in the Fahcup. Hopefully they will lose to Tottenham on the return leg or whomever they play on the next round.
If either Chelsea, Villa or Tottenham make the final the Europa spot will still be there. And most likely the same will go for Pompey "pompey out of europe link" who wont be able to compete due to the Leeds effect.

    Bendtner with a late winner.

Bendtners' ability to stay onside in that last play shows the difference between him and adebayor.

ade would've most likely been offside for that chance.

credit to nick, who followed the play, and made it happen when it counts.

thanks for keeping us up to date on the pointless. Please, let us know when the next time Myhill gift wraps you guys three points, so this way you can lie to all us city fans (for the umpteenth time), and perhaps we'll finally buy your snake-oil and believe Bender is actually talented.

    Fair enough.

Tell me ONE Man City player who has ever scored a Champions League hat-trick?

9 goals in 18 matches. Has scored on 30% of his attempts (tops in the league). No that's not Bendtner.

Its sad how much time you spend here in the City section.

thanks. i'd much prefer to face them in an actual meaningful game, rather than some lame friendly and then go all crazy about the "cup" we won. but anyways, who would do that?

    Mate, seriously.
Why do you come here? The guy was being nice, and you just have to throw it back in his face and be a jerk.
Don't think anyone around here or on other forums i visit went crazy about beating Barca in that game, and if so, it would of only been in jest. It was only a friendly for goodness sake.

This thing does wonders and he's the only one... not even Teso... that I would suggest using it for!
