As expected, Cole is charged. An elbow is really ok but a tweet, criminal. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19868217

Think this year it will be a lot more with Hazard and co coming in. Add the fact that our CL win must have added quite a few supporters.
Maybe someone here can help me. Several years ago, the old ChelseaTV Online used to have all match highlights for the entire Premier League era. The new one now doesn't. I am desperately looking for highlights for the 13/10/2001 match between Chelsea and Leicester. Hasselbaink and Gudjohnsen scored. It was Wisey's first match back at the club and my first ever Chelsea match. It's coming up on 11 years this Saturday and I want to reminsce. I found my pictures, ticket and programme last night but was looking for highlights. YouTube had nothing. Anyone with ideas!? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/1580190.stm http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/856501
Not to piss off any of the English lot, but i would have been happy if Ash followed in JTs footsepts, especially at his age. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...Ashley-Cole-admits-FA-improper-conduct-charge Oh, and this is getting ridiculous. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...an-Bertrand-apologises-over-Twitter-expletive
Put this in the auld onion bag and smoke it during this two-week break. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/video/espnfc/video?id=1187291&cc=5901 Yeah, baby!
Boris Berezovsky to pay Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's £35 million legal costs after losing damages battle: http://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/b...osts-after-losing-damages-battle-8208955.html
No, I understand what yer mean mate. It IS bloody annoying but I hope he stays put as most fans think the FA are as shit as he obviously does. You only have to read the England boards to see that. I saw that but, tbh, it would help if the chels hadn't turned into the local branch of a university creative writing course. Just KEEP QUIET!!! Can't help thinking these people should have someone write their tweets for them coz Charles Dickens they ain't.
Decent piece on Oscar by @GrantJames http://www.football-analysis.com/prototype-playmaker-oscar/ Reading it further picked out the piece from Juni about Oscar absence in the early days & it rightly explains why the current mix of attacking trio of O-H-M look so brilliant.
Sorry Eddie, can't help with your request. Had to post in here though - I was at that match as well. I was sitting down in the corner of the West Stand/Shed End. It was fun when Wisey came over to take a corner - his first time over we all gave him a good cheer. Every other time after that we gave him hell. He was laughing the whole time... I used to have videos of all the matches I went to, including that one (had a friend at the BBC who would make copies of the feeds - no commentary, so it was kind of like being there). Haven't seen those tapes in years though...
slow news day obviously http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/352171 methinks this was a quote out a lenghty interview/article which has been highlighted to create traffic/views http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8165311 Ryan cancels his Twitter. Good move imo and I am big fan of several players not having them.
Nice read on Oscar being the heir to Kaka from Fernando Duarte: http://pickourteam.com/premierleague/news/16-10-2012/oscar-the-natural-heir-to-kaka-throne Little known fact, Oscar moved in at Inter 2010 but Sao Paulo retaliated with a legal move: an ugly court case resulted in Oscar being out of football for 52 weeks. That court case was indeed long, used to see updates on Paulo Freitas TL over the time. Right after the case was resolved, his buyout was decided at 25mn euros, which we did activate.
Nando spices things up for ya: Fernando Torres admits he did not care if Chelsea won or lost http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/oct/16/fernando-torres-care-chelsea-won-lost A quote from Nando:
funny enough I can see that he really has been a good pro for us and I will miss him when he is gone Strange that the guardian is running that from just after the CL but I suppose it creates the headline in a slow news week
I can absolutely see Paulo having a role at the club, He's been here 8-9 years now, is a consummate professional and when called on, always does an admirable job. I would have thought he would have been gone by now. He could have been starting in Portugal for several years at this point but decide to remain with Chelsea and even renew contracts to stay here even though playing time is greatly lacking anymore.
JT does not appeal his ban. Best move imo as the FA would have only increased it. Time for all to move on now, but I will be interested to see if Anton decides to move on as Evra has.
