Bergin is speculating that Colorado may not keep Darryl Powell around for next season. We could still use a D-mid. If he's healthy and available should we go after him? What would he be worth? I say send them Ivanov for Powell straight up. Bergin also says that Robin Fraser might retire. Ivanov could replace Fraser in their defense. I think Powell for Ivanov would be a fair trade; one relatively disappointing SI with perhaps some potential (Ivanov) for an as of yet MLS-unproven SI. What do you guys think?

Probably an OK trade, not great, but OK. But also at the moment this is only speculation. All though it is Bergin so...

IMHO, absolutely, positively not....injured almost the entire time he was in Colo, and had health quesitons before he came. with his age and health questions, and the probable salary it is not worth it. I seriously doubt he would play for much less.

Additionally with all the injury problems we have had the past few years, we don't need another player with health questions that still have not been answered, well not in a positive way.

I would not have a problem with trading Ivanov for some picks though, even though he is an SI. Besides there are a few teams that are going to have to rework teams Colo being one of them and we could possibly do better for less in a trade.
