theres great playes that play in bulgarioa serbia, cratia and other easter countries and top teams these days just waste money on world class signing in which i dont see the point
Real madrid bought hell loads of class players and came third last year and didnt win anything so should they watch for playes more closley?

I think that by ignoring players from Eastern Europe, the top clubs in the world really miss out on an opportunity. Just look at how much better the Turkish League has gotten in the past few years, mainly by recruiting Romanian talent. I also look at the success of Shakhtar Donetsk, who also have been actively recruiting Romanian talent as well. Shakhtar has a long way to go before they are world beaters, but last I ckecked they are ahead of Dynamo Kiev by a couple of points. Just a few years ago, no one thought that this could/would happen.

? I think the improvements in the level of Turkish players had more to do with this than anything. After all, it was Turkey who reached the 2002 semifinals, not Romania and only a handful of Turkey's players were playing abroad.
