Okay I know we can't rest the whole team but given that the remaining opponents are all winnable games, would it be wise to just tank the game against LAFC and avoid fatigue and another Altidore injury?
Probably not a bad idea strategically. And LAFC are way out in front in the west so it's not like it would be a dishonourable thing to do in terms of being fair to other teams' playoff aspirations. My counter is that TFC are really trying to hit their stride with the first team right now. They're playing okay and getting some results but they aren't quite clicking they way they'll need to to make any noise in the playoffs. The extra game with everyone together could help with that.
