The majority of top flight coaches have had nothing but praise and awe for Riquelmes ability to do with a game the things he does. He's been connected via rumor with how many top clubs this past summer? You really need to stop hating on our only playmaker and one of the albicelestes best players. Gago deserves his shot at the national team I'll agree with you on that but I don't think he has anything locked up as far as the future goes. I'm confident Gago will but I dont want to put ufair expectations on a youngster the way some of you did on Roman. Now how you don't deem Palacio albiceleste material is bewildering. So yea Gago, yes noone has a sure spot on the NT especially that el Coco took over not to long ago and is trying to find or put the right pieces together but Gago has been at a good level for some time now.As for Palacio,yes he also deserves a shot.If it wasn't for him boca won't be where they are right now.Now all of us know that. Its not about having the River shirt on dude its whats better for our NT.

Lets face it, even if Palermo was selected for the squad against Spain it would probably just be a one off as he is not going to the next world cup and nor will he be playing in the Copa next year. Which means there is not point in selecting him, there are plenty of other strikers to choose from, one bloke who should be in the squad, and in my opinion should have gone to the world cup, is Diego Milito, who is a regular goal scorer in La Liga but never seems to get a chance, he deserves a place in the squad.

A year ago, I didn't want him in Boca's 1st team ... I prefered Delgado along Palacio. But he raised his level and Basile had a lot to do with it ... taking him out of the box to pivot to Palacio and the arriving offensive mids. Just keep your thoughts coming. .
