i don't see how he could just let them off, no matter how important a player this is still a team sport, you let one or two players off and you risk other players doing the same with no consequences. managers run the team not players, something so called superstars forget sometimes. plus its a chance for others to shine and maybe prove to boruc and dudka that everyone can be replaced.
