Should I Moderate The Israel Forum?

Recently most of the posts in the Israel forum have been made by me and have been about Israeli clubs in the Champions League and Europa League qualifying rounds. MHaifa1913, the only moderator for the forum, hasn't posted since June 3 and before his two posts on June 3 he last posted on April 29. This means he didn't post any in May when the domestic season ended. I'm guessing he would have posted more if his favorite club, Maccabi Haifa, was in the qualifying rounds for one of the UEFA competitions. I admit the Israel forum doesn't need much moderation due to the lack of posts and doesn't need two moderators, but I think the moderator (be it him or me) should post more often than he has been doing. I joined BigSoccer on March 30, 2004 and I visit several forums here including Israel at least once a day. I admit that I have no moderation experience, but if every job required experience nobody could ever get a first job. I request that an administrator informs MHaifa1913 that he must post more often to retain his moderator title for Israel and the subforums "Israel: National Teams" and "Israel: NSR."

 

I was thinking about this again. MHaifa1913 last posted on February 8 and last posted in the Israel forum on April 23, 2012.

The activity level is very low. Maybe later I'll do an exact count. Does every forum have at least one moderator?

 

In the past month (June 24 to July 23), Israel (including two subforums has had):

EvanJ: 14 posts
phoenixhazard: 2 posts
Borussia: 2 posts
Waliatiger: 2 posts
Scotty: 1 post
keller4president: 1 post
Morris20: 1 post

That's less than 1 post per day and only 0.3 posts per day by people other than me. There could be more posts in a month when Israel has World Cup or Euro qualifiers. If you think that isn't much, the Albania forum has had two posts and no new topics in 2013. I don't see any moderators at the top of that page so I guess not all forums have moderators.
