Shots fired at trump PA rally

Biden has pulled his campaign ads. It's going to be extremely tricky now for future ads to find the "appropriate balance" of pointing out the felonious fascist is a threat to democracy but not to push so hard that the media get on him for "going too far".

 

therein lies the problem with the Dems.. they insist that they have to be “gentlemanly” about things and take the high road… it is this very attitude that cost them the Supreme Court and almost cost them the presidency had Pence not done the right thing… the GOP does things gloves off, crass and loud… Im not saying fight fire with fire.. BUT do not hamstring yourself to optics cause the GOP is already telling everyone you stole the last election and that you are turning the country over to “outsiders”.. so that “Libs” are evil narrative is already out there..

I saw it reported on CNN's website and the New Zealand Herald (although that was using CNN).

 

that is the “proper” thing to do.. take a rest from campaigning and cool off the national temperature.. experience tells us the GOP wont and will embolden them to be even more pronounced in saying the Dems are out of control.. but waiting to see what statement comes from Trump himself before proceeding is the minimum that should be done.. im sure he wont let us down

Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured. It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!"

This isn't the first time the phrase has been uttered

 

Indeed. It’s the Republican convention starting Monday. I very much doubt their attacks on Biden are going to be put on hold during next week.

No apologies. He is a felon, he is a fascist and he is a threat to democracy.

But it is interesting, if accurate, that it was apparently a registered Republican who tried to kill him.

 

Obviously the data is still too new to know facts from speculation, but the registered Republican may have been his father with the same name, at least that is one of the things I am seeing on Twitter.

 

Biden team can use this. Trump releases songs with people out to kill politicians and cals them patriots while Biden condemns all efforts to thwart democracy because no one person is more important.

There's a picture there of his sleeve. It has one of those backwards American flags, similar to the Nine Line shirts that right-wingers wear. Of course it won't stop the same people who believe that 1/6 was Antifa disguised as Proud Boys.

 

I could never be close friends with a pacifist for this reason. My survival and the survival of other Black people is more important than anyone's desire for nonviolence. Dr. King made us into punks for the sake of effective civil rights legislation. But now I don't know how many of us can act like men and use violence when we decide it's necessary or even just fun.

I'll support nonviolence when ALL Whites follow it.

But that's just it. We are told we shouldn't use true descriptions regarding the felonious fascist, even though we will be the ones first in line for extermination based on fascist history (not to mention the rhetoric of his allies).

As always, we are told to mind our Ps and Qs while they go on with their rhetoric about us and threats toward us. We are never allowed a level playing field. [And by "we" I mean targeted groups of all varieties]

 

So, Crooks being a registered Republican seems legit. Here's a shot of the state record, note the birthdate. Clearly that's not his father as some were saying. The plot thickens.
