Pray he doesn't come here and become 4th choice striker just like his old teammate Rebrov....

Still, at 10million, that a bit of a steal

Personally i think we should buy Shevchenko and Kezman, that'd be pretty sweet

Um he's just as good as any other striker in Europe. When hes fit, hes in the top 10. A RVN-Sheva strike force would be unbelievable, but the probability of him coming to OT should be slim to none.

    I don't know

With rivaldo now at Milan, and sheva being hurt, it might be time to cut their losses and make some money off the kid. Lord knows they didn't pay anything for him to begin with and we all know how Milan could use the money. SAF really needs a quality striker and there aren't many better then Sheva out there and for the price you really can't beat that. Hell sell Saba and it easily pays for Sheva.

Actually he did not move for next to noting rude.
He moved from Dinamo Kiev for 16 million pounds.

I agree completly, every time i've had the luck to see him in action i've been blown away, and i think he'll be the best striker for us, considering we're considering people like Di Canio (who is awesome, but i don't see him making massive impact), Gudjohnsen (same) and Morientes (not sure about him). But it was the awesome rebrov - Shevchenko partnership that got rebrov to the premiership, and he failed miserably. Hopefully this won't happen to Shevchenko if he dopes move, but since he plays in the Serie A and has europe experiance, theres a slim chance, but a chance nonetheless.

Sheva might play today for Milan which would end all speculation of him joining us...

As long as Milan are in the Champion's League, why would they sell him, & he wouldn't be eligible for Champion's League for United. He would be relagated to playing League & Domestic Cup games only. For Sheva, it wouldn't make sense to leave a team that's 4-0 in Europe.

He was on the bench for Milan today, but didn't make an appearance. He therefore isn't cup tied, yet.

I stand corrected on the Cup tied part. However, I can't believe he won't get into one of the last two games as Milan have qualified.

    Could it still be?

Sheva didn't play so he isn't cup tied and with Inzaghi playing so well Sheva might be out of a starting position. Would A.C. Milan be teasing the world by putting Sheva on the bench but not playing him in the hopes that United bite on Jan 1st?

Exactly. They're trying to get him back to match fitness and I can't see why he wouldn't play.

Not only is there 2 more match days in the first phase, there are 2 match days in the second phase 11/26 & 11/27, & 12/10 & 12/11. That leaves Sheva 4 more possible matches to be cup tied, before the transfer window opens in January. With Europe in mind, the only way the transfer would or could happen is if Milan lost the first two matches of the second phase. This seems unlikely as they are in good form 12 points from 4 games.

What are you smoking?! Do you honestly think SAF's gonna sell Seba, as he has always backed him up throughout the tough last season, when everyone hated him, and now Seba's hitting top form and showing the first time that this buy was not a mistake after all?

Either case, I think Shevcheko really is coming to OT. There's our #9. Mystery solved.

Signing diCanio reeks of desperation to me.

I would not be too surprised to see Paolo go over to Manchester. Sad for West Ham but he deserves a chance to win something.

SAF's signing no big players until next summer.

    >Signing diCanio reeks of desperation to me.

Utd just put out a team with only Forlan up front. They are desperate to bring in another striker!

Alex sold off Cole and Yorke far too quickly and when his 4-4-1-1 system floundered, requiring only one striker, he got himself into trouble. He does desperately need another good striker though I'm don't believe di Canio is it.

    shevchenco scores

Even worse, not only is he now cuptied, but he scored on his first game back. This is great for A.C. Milan but could be bad for united in future stages.

why is united always looking for offense, if they had signed nesta from lazio when they were trying to unload him they would be sitting pretty now, there defense is there problem not there offense, they dont need anymore attacking players
