For those of you ready to kick out Bradley here's a quote from Shep Messing's article on MSG Network's Website.

Bob Bradley didn’t come to the MetroStars and announce that he would turn it around in one year or two. He did say that he would build a team that would compete towards a championship and this team is a step in the right direction.

So in other words calm down. Everything is going to be alright.

Eh, Shep's article sounded a little too critical and too much like a anti-foreign players movement. Yeah, SGR was a dissapointment. I guess you could say Glenn and Taylor were too, but they didn't start up top every game. With the number of forwards we had, it was hard to find the right combo. Heck, I don't even know if we did find a right combo. I give them the benefit of the doubt and just hope next year will be different.

The team has a ton of young talent and they could very possibly be a great team in a couple years. I just think they need to figure out why this team fizzles down the stretch like it has the past 2 seasons.

Shep's no dummy. He's not going to rip a guy who is 100% certain to come back.

    calm down because ??????????

MLS owns the players not the clubs !!!!, any player recruited/drafted means "zero" for the club in the long run.. Any player can be shiped out to another club by MLS without the clubs permission if they so choose, granted there will be some compensation. But if a foreign club came in to buy lets say Gaven/Clark/Magee Metro would have no say in it and all that work and wait would be gone down the drain.

The only way i would buy into the "long term" plan if this players(young stars/prospects) made a commitment to the club with a long term contract and we would known they will be here for the next 10 years or so.

I wish i could get hired to do a job where i could tell my boss and management that i will need 5-7 years to do a good job and totaly disregard my job performance now in the first few years, after all it is long term, why not make it 10 years then.
Its all BS and doesn't work in MLS where the clubs do not control player movements/sales/aqusitions.

So now Shep is the voice of reason?!? With all the flip-flopping going on these boards should be re-named Big Kerry.

Yea peops. just relax. We didn't kill a lot of teams early in the season because we were lucky.

But in all honestly, if OZ had chosen Buddle...........I hate that man so much.
