Yes, it does mean that. No one said it didn't mean that. But - that "H2H" also can/usually means it is a cup match of some sort.
They made 11 changes, if what I read is true. But Wednesday made 7 or 8, as well, and still managed to look cohesive. That's a pretty good sign, even if Sunderland didn't really make a fist of it.
Tuesday v Rochdale is in the League Cup, with Saturday's game v the Tree F*ckers being in the League. Then the following Tuesday it's away to Bradford in the EFL Trophy with Barnsleh at Hillsborough in the League the following Saturday. No points for figuring out which of the four to de-prioritize; but honestly, Wednesday are deep enough to be reasonably competitive in all of 'em. And while the League takes obvious precedence, I'd still like to see a strong team v Rochdale. v Bradford ... whatever. edit: Ah! I see those screenshots have been expanded to include the competition now (and a bit else). Much better.
All three goals long range belters. Like, really nice ones. 3rd round draw (when the heavyweights drop in) tomorrow afternoon/evening, after the four remaining 2nd round games end (around 5pm eastern, I'd guess). Spurs at Hillsborough ... I'd fancy that.
Wednesday have drawn Southampton away in the 3rd round of the League Cup. It's not inconceivable that Soton will play kids so as to not distract from their league efforts, but that's grasping at straws a bit. Crap draw, really.
Owls win 3-2. Bank on it. Or maybe we get beat 6-0 I dunno... You can pretty much say anything you want on the internets...
He was in the League One team of the season last season (along with Smith), solid defender he just had the nickname Calamity Jane for his moments like the own goal at Sunderland late last season.
