I haven’t drank since October and I was wondering if I was drunk.

OG needed to be subbed. He has looked ancient out there today.

Is this going to be the first head substitution? No they realised as he was a goalie there was nothing to damage

The academy lads all link together well as they have played together for years

There is a definite mindset difference for the centre backs whenever jorginho plays compared to anyone else in that spot.

Not so much that he offers as much resistance as a wet paper towel defensively, but they know if they pass it out to him, they are going to get it right back. That just encourages even worse decision making. We see it time and time again.

The complete lack of accountability Jorginho has to shoulder is shocking and you outline it well with this example. Tuchel will learn.

Credit to rudi for that header. Not full redemption but a check in the good play column.

And another good bit of play from rudiger to be the only player to halt Fleck who has been lively (very much unlike his dad when he wore the royal blue).

I always think that Fleck was the origin of Chelsea buying over priced and under performing centre forwards

    Totally agree.

Though he did have a song I was rather partial to singing in the Britannia, even years after his spell with us was over.

I remember being so excited as a 10/11/12 year old (around that time anyway) that this guy who'd absolutely been on fire for Norwich the previous seasonw as coming to OUR club. What a let down. Still, I think it was the next season we got Stein, and that worked out well.

Right up until he got crocked at old Trafford when tackled into the advertising hoardings. Had a record run of consecutive games with a goal iirc.

Love that hustle from mount to harrass the sheff utd player in their own third and win a throw in and then a free kick. Easy to see why managers love him.

Mendy with a good save and another win under the belt.

Interesting what team he will pick against Barnsley

Conservative performance from Chels. Playing and Moving. Passing. Winning. Made a bit of a meal of it. Context: Sheff Utd are bottom of the league.

3 points. 5th in the table. Timo MOTM

Up to 5th! Never an easy 3 points but a good 3 points against a fighting side.

A vast improvement on the 3-0 loss we took in the same fixture last season.

Man... We need to start winning more comfortably... Still not very convincing.
