Anyone else is welcome to join before the completion of the first round, but this is a commitment for approximately 6-8 weeks. If you wish to join, just post in this thread and send your pick to me. Player Eligiblity Any player who has played a match in the past two seasons is eligible. Players should be judged based on their best season of the last two. That is the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons for most leagues, and the 2013 and 2014 seasons for leagues which run on the calenday year. Draft Period I may refer to this as part of some criteria. The period covered is 2nd July 2012 to 13th July 2014. Pick Evidence This should be provided in all cases unless stated otherwise. I will detail the evidence required for each round with the criteria. Picks will not be accepted without supporting evidence. If you have queries on player's eligibility, it is advisable to clarify this with me early as I cannot guarantee being able to respond promptly during the 2nd and 3rd pick windows (although I will do my best). Deadlines I'm flexible on deadlines if given sufficient notice to accommodate people being unavailable. You should let me know in advance if you can't make a pick and I'm happy to revise. On the day of the deadline, I will grant an extension of up to 60 minutes if given at least 1 hours notice. Once we are in the last hour of the pick, no extensions will be granted. Sheep If you are required to make a third pick, you can (at the same time as making your final pick) nominate a position for a potential sheep. If required, I will then allocate a sheep from players currently in the Northern League (the 9th and 10th levels of the English pyramid). This will ensure consistancy of sheep. Tactics & Formations To try and ensure that the draft doesn't slowly tail off after the final picks, you must submit your formation within 2 days of the final picks. Failure to provide a line up will result in suspension from future drafts. Following the tactics, you will then have a week to submit a tactical summary. This is optional, and missing this will not result in a suspension. Other drafters may vote you down on the basis of a lack of explanation of your formation though. Voting Failure to rank the other teams will again result in a suspension from future drafts. More details on the timescales for the judging will be determined later in the draft. Questions? Third heading in the original post. Basically from the day after the Euro 2012 final to the day of the World Cup final.
Unfortunately my schedule at work over the next few weeks is quite demanding. I am very sorry but I won't be able to participate. However, my partner @Cevno may still decide to continue. @Cevno Will you be able to participate?
