I'll draft another team too. Probably solo (I said I'll let thebigman know about drafts but if the World Cup one goes ahead that's probably more like one I'd do in a pairing I think - I will PM thebigman though but he probably already received an email from the Sheep Draft 3.5 message).
Was gonna PM you if you hadn't replied mate. Can't remember what I said before by PM but think it was that the World Cup one might be a good one for us to partner up again and I'd probably do the normal Sheep Draft (this one) alone as per tradition - so I'll let you see if you can partner up with someone else for now if that's ok. Even if the next one is not a World Cup one I'd probably be up for partnering again anyway (think lanman had a few ideas lined up).
Just checked what we said by PM - I did mention the World Cup one plus current ones again. But you said for an all-time one I could lead and give you choices/we could agree on the ones we both thought were good etc (wheras you lead the way more with the current one). So I'd still think a World Cup one or even a straight all-time draft is best for us to partner but if you don't find another partner when this kicks-off and you don't fancy trying it alone then I wouldn't mind one year out from my solo efforts and you could be my assistant this time lol! So, yeah if you find a different partner then thats cool and we could team up again for the next draft (unless you and your new partner become a dream team and stick together lol - our position was pretty decent in the current draft though!) but don't feel you have to drop out if you don't cos I'll be willing to have you as my sensible assistant (keeping the formation more normal than I'm sometimes tempted ; in return I can help out with the info on the pre 90's players and then you could have an equal say like I did with the current draft pretty much).
This is an all time draft, right? I'm provisionally in, and would be happy to do a joint team with someone who has a strong understanding of historical players as my knowledge of that particular aspect is pretty poor.
Count me in for this one. If anyone needs a partner then I'm happy to pair up but I'll go solo if required.
I'm weak there, too. But it is the research and my limited knowledge is decent enough that I did not finish last in the Sheep 3.0 draft.
I wouldn't worry about it - just take part and have some fun. You'll learn a fair bit and also have the chance to spoil it for other people.
I'm looking at next Monday as the first deadline, with the first round criteria being available late next week.
