The Sheep Champions League just finished it's inaugural run. It consisted of the top Sheep players from 4 leagues run on MLS Club boards in this forum: DC, NE, HOU and KC. We are looking for a few other MLS teams to join in by starting their own league. WHAT IS SHEEP? "Sheep" is a game (think Family Feud on steroids) played by a large group of people (like, say, those that frequent your team's board). The more that play, the better. Once a week, the person running the game (PRG) will post 15 questions that have more than one possible answer (like Family Feud). Each player will PM the PRG with their answers. The trick is not to answer correctly, but rather to answer what you think all the other players will say (hence the name Sheep, it pays to follow the crowd). For every player that answers the same as you, you get a point. Highest score wins, and everyone is then awarded season points based on where they finished that week. Season points are tracked for the season (usually 8 or 10 weeks) until the ultimate champion is crowned. If you have enough players, you can then set up divisions with promotion and relegation. If you are interested in running a league on your team's board, PM lawrenceterp or myself and we can help you get started. Reminds me of the Oakland Stompers Sheep in 1978....... http://nasljerseys.com/Rosters/Stompers/Stompers_Rosters.htm
Columbus, Dallas and Philly have added leagues this season, so we are up to 7. There is a Champions League leader board tracking the top players in each league. One more reason to get your team's supporters to start a league!
