********ing limpwristed Canadians.What a bunch of cowards, its simple.. these Islamofacists are pissing in the face of our laws and culture.They want us to respect their law but dont respect ours unless of course it protects them.Since they do not abide by western Law and thews they should have no protection under them.
How can this be democratic? How can one group lobby to get this put into law affecting all members of a religious community?
Because it's not, technically, law. The Sharia law is actually only a form of arbitration. So does anyone agree with this form of "multiculturealism"? Will Europe be far behind?

Problem here is that when the confederation wad made, we were too 'liberal' (THANK YOU MR. JOHN A MCDONALD!!) with the quebecors! We are an English nation and we gave a part of Canada (in 1867) a law from there own state of france - the Civil law... Other than Quebec and the Territories, Canada has common/British law.... Civil law opened a law for more other laws..... I don't think that Canada has to forfeit and go with the Sharia law. I do respect Sharia law in the sense of community things (like barrial, and food things laws) but to put it in the context of the Ontario Judicial system is absurd... its slapping all those Iranians and other refugee asylumers who fled ruthless nations who practiced strict sharia law......this is a real slap in the face!
