I actually think that it's one of the best in this thread.

 

This reminds me of the rose/soccer ball that Portland uses on their away kits.

 

I like this quite a bit, though it reminds me of a second logo and not a primary. Sorta like those shoulder patch logos in hockey, (bigfoot in Colorado, Civil war hat in C-bus, etc) great additions but not quite the main.

Sources close to the club have confirmed we'll be seeing ticket prices Monday, and logo/jersey "around the first week of August".

Also confirmed: same name, same colours, new logo.

What do you mean? They're rebranding and word from inside the club is the name Impact stays (don't know if they're changing it around like some suggested to "Impact Montréal FC"), the colours are staying the same, but the logo is being changed.

This is what the club has said all along.

Logo should be unveiled in August, when they open season ticket sales to the general public.

I hope keeping their colors means keeping the pink and black kit. I'd say nay to it being the alternate but after two seasons when they can get a third I'd say something similar to their current would be cool.

Say what you will but the pink/black looks awesome IMHO.

I'm not a huge fan of the name Impact, but I understand the tradition and sense of history so that's cool. Aesthetically, this could be an upper tier franchise. The blue and white is a no brainer. It will look great and simple. Saputo is a nice sponsor that looks good on the kit. The pink/black third kit will immediately set them apart.

Hopefully they don't do all blue monochrome and keep the blue & white offsets.

Finally, I hope the crest is classic and simple. The current one is too minor league and 90's.

 

Heh, they're my wife's favorite team for that very reason. I'd love to see Montreal adopt those colors.
