This is a brilliant thread I love the way that everyone agrees that Britian is was the greatest colonial power. People keep digging up the bad examples and I can think of a few for both. But then look at the best we created and what they created and then look at the time span. But I cannot help thinking if we were more willing to give out domion status we would have been even more powerful in the long run. For god sake America would be a British Domion how cool would that be. But then you wouldn't have your precious constitusion and would compete and woop everyone in the commonwealth games.
