There are no words for this kind of tragedy...

I just want to send a thought to his friends and family...

So when do we start wondering (aloud) if drugs were involved?

I think the Italian press are already wondernig about doping, as footballers were involved in the big Spanish doping controversy that brought down some bikers.

Would be respectful to not speculate until facts are known though.

Probably after the autopsy. I think its more likely that some sort of enlarged heart or other similar condition was involved.

    Very sad regardless though.

He may have had a condition though, this isn't the first time he's collapsed on the pitch.

He had two medical check-ups after fainting twice last year but they could not damn find anything.
first ray jones, then a 16 yr old in sweden and then a 16 yr old walsall player.
    terrible week for football.
his girlfriend is 8 months pregnant too.
This is so sad ,why the heck did they allow him to walk after collapsing once on the pitch once?

And he's been cleared to play with this condition?

This is really horrible, I can't imagine how tough it would be for Sevilla to get back on the pitch to play after that. :(

Well he had medicals only 3 weeks ago yet somehow made it through them. I was listening to the Guardian podcast this morning, and their Spanish guy Sid Lowe had said this had happened before in either preseason or training.

got this from caf - Alan Curbishley has just said on interview before the cup game tonight that he thinks it's an agent of Adriano's trying to stir something up, and that he knows nothing about any talks with the player. The club about an hour earlier have confirmed they are in talks to sign the player on loan.

Where is taff when you need him? West Ham are the biggest joke in football right now.

Sunderland are 2 down at Luton. Keano's honeymoon period is going to end soon, he has spent a lot of money on average players too.

    lol sooo true...
Forgot about their Audi deal and every time a player arrives there its in an Audi.

We are sponsored by them too btw.

In Becks autobiography (kinda off topic) he said when he was at Untied in the mid 90's they all got Honda Civics:p and Becks pimped his out
