Seems like an interesting case. If I recall correctly, he moved to FC Dallas from the Sacramento Republic for this past Academy season. I assume he met, or was soon to meet, the league's requirements for an HG contract.

Adds another early pro/Europe-based option for the next U20 cycle.

 

He was also part of that U18 team that won the Vaclav Jezek Tournament in 2016. He played 20 odd minutes in the final.

This (German) article notes the logistical issues with him moving to Germany before he turns 18, indicating that his parents might have moved with him.

Actually, I think we missed his debut, which was last Saturday. He played the second half against Chemnitz in a U19 Bundesliga game.

 

On transfermarkt it says his contract is only for this season..anybody know if this is true?
