Match preview: Real Madrid: Real Madrid are still surrounded by pressure and chaos, but they at least responded with a 2-0 win over Oviedo at the Bernabéu. The performance itself wasn’t amazing, but after everything happening around the club lately, they’ll take the result. The match today gives Real Madrid another chance to build some momentum before this miserable season finally ends. Results have been inconsistent for weeks, and with the league already lost to Barça, there’s obviously nothing major left to fight for. Still, Arbeloa will want the team to finish with some dignity and avoid turning the final weeks into an even bigger embarrassment. Sevilla Sevilla will probably never get a better chance to face Madrid than now. They may still technically be in danger of relegation, but unlike Madrid they actually look like a team fighting for something. A few weeks ago they were in complete chaos themselves, but Luis García Plaza somehow turned things around. Wins over Sociedad and Espanyol already gave them momentum, and coming back from 2-0 down away at Villarreal basically saved their season. Akor Adams has stepped up massively in recent games, and Sevilla suddenly look alive again while Madrid look completely broken mentally. At this point Madrid are just playing for pride, while Sevilla are playing with desperation and belief. That’s a dangerous combination. Team News Real Madrid: Madrid meanwhile are still without Militão, Rodrygo, Arda Güler and Mendy. Valverde recovered from the head injury he picked up after colliding with Tchouaméni, so he could return, while Mbappé is expected to make his first start in more than three weeks. Sevilla Sevilla are still missing Marcão and Manu Bueno through injury, but after the comeback win at Villarreal they don’t really have any new problems heading into this match. García could still freshen things up a bit though, with Castrín and Juanlu Sánchez both pushing for starts, while Alexis Sánchez will probably be used again as an impact sub in the second half after changing games recently. Match notes: - Real Madrid will play Sevilla for the first time since Sergio Ramos agreed to purchase the club -Real Madrid haven’t lost away to Sevilla since the 2018/19 season, recording 5 wins and 1 draw since then. -Matches between Sevilla FC and Real Madrid CF average around 3.7 goals per game Hala Madrid!!!
Pass to Vini, Vini tries to take on multiple defenders, passes it backward, back to Vini, Vini tries to dribble across the pitch, passes backward, back to Vini, Vini tries to dribble multiple defenders, loses it, hopes for a foul, opponents counterattack. I am so goddamn tired of this same sequence over and over, even if it results in a golazo once every 5-6 matches.
Hahaha, I was just about to say, I hope these final matches involve link-up play between Mbappe and Vini and no one will know what to talk about in the offseason.
I'm not trying to be a hater, but that was a pretty damn easy finish, talk about putting it on a silver platter.
Vini should just buy his own team so he can have the ball all the time. He always trying to dribble past their whole team in stead of passing or looking for a one two.
Tibo swatting nothing but air on a low cross inside the six yard box. Mbappe getting owned by opposing GK and being denied on a 1v1 on the edge of the six. These guys are playing against us
