If I was a Madrid fan attending that game today I’d ask for a refund from the club for not winning 10-0 vs 9 men!
If you are a Madrid fan attending a pointless League game with this kind of weather in Seville I'd question your judgements.
It was tongue in cheek but yeah, lovely weather in Sevilla this time of year. Been a couple of times to Sevilla, fantastic City and food.
Sevilla at 350+ mil. in debt. How? Like, what did they even spend it on? The club was allowed to spend about 600k due to Financial Fairplay regulations.
Kyilan needs only 1 more goal to be in the top the European Golden boot race. The only one left that can take it from his Salah, he's only 1 goal behind. But it's safe to say that Kyilan is going to win the Pichici with 4 more goals than Lewa. And I don't think he is going to score 4 goals in away game against Bilbao, especially when he didn't even scored a hattrick all season long at the league.
They’ve been a poorly run club for absolute years now, kicked off by the guy that was sent to prison at one point. Probably one of the reasons why the entire team was put on the transfer list last season due to financial restrictions, and probably still are in some way.
If we go for Mastantouno, he'll probably get the Fede, Reiner and maybe Endrick(if he goes on loan next season) treatment where we buy then loan out for a season or 2. I don't see him being a big part of the squad for now.
The Castilla guys that got time are most likely going to be fringe first division players if at all. Can't be in your 20s looking this out of depth in a game like this.
Mastantuono is not a out-and-out RW as some of the outlets market, we heard the same about Güler. The guy is a CAM/CM. Not sure where he fits in the current squad. But of course it could be FOMO. I'd rather give a chance to Nico Paz. But if Perez must, buy him and immediately loan him to a German or Italian side.
I was in Sevilla back in 2022 in September IIRC. They said they didn't have a drop of rain for 3 months... It was raining the day I arrived Talk about bringing Irish weather everywhere I go. But yeah, lovely city. One of those places you wouldn't mind living in.
Come on 4x4 why are you deflecting again... you can clearly see that if a coach unlike Carlo who knows how to nurture youth and give them a chance, we would have won the UCL and the league. What was he thinking playing Vasquez??
Endrick seems to be lacking an identity or some kind of outlier ability. Seems like he's good at everything but I don't see him being excellent at something, yet?
Think there are some aspects of his game that can be developed. He has a few qualities that are very interesting
Yeah, I see that, with Vini you could tell he has something special right away, even if it looked very raw. With Endrick I just see another talented young player. Kind of like Rodrygo.
He is fast, strong, has a good shot on him and has a strikers instinct. Think if we developed him as a RW he could develop into a scoring winger
He likely has quality, but he is mentally checked out or crushed psychologically. He's just not in the zone on the pitch
Endrick needs to be loaned so he can figure out that indentity. He won't have the rope at Madrid to make mistakes. I think they made a mistake not allowing him to play at Castilla in his first year similar to Vini, Rodrygo, and Valverde. He has some basic physical and technical skills that look good like his hard shot and short distance acceleration. But there is also alot for him to work on. He is very far from being a regular rotation player.
He's 18. The only identity he needs is to come off the bench and use that left foot to score goals. When he gets a start? Make the most of it. It's his first season. He will continue to adjust and those flashes of brilliance he has shown we begin to take shape. No need to do anything drastic.
We will get a closer look at the CWC since River will be there. I think he is closer to a CAM/RW hybrid than Guler. Guler to me is a CAM and maybe CM in the long run. If you had an overlaping right back, than Guler probably looks more comfortable on the right. Mastantuono may not be completely out of place on the right wing although he is more of a CAM. He kind of reminds me of Brahim who is probably a CAM but does not look out of place on the right wing either. The whole Guler/Mastantuono/Nico musical chairs is interesting. As much as they are similar, they are slightly different. They are all probably primarily CAMs, but of the three, Mastantuono would probably be the most comfortable at right wing and Nico would probably be the most comfortable at CM.
In Endrick's mind, the only thing he thinks about is shooting and scoring. Often times its the detirment of the play. He needs to work out the rest of his game or it will limit his ceiling. This is more one step back and two steps forward.
