I believe in 2007 the league instituted the rule that every game had to be on TV somewhere, so one or both teams had to do it if it wasn't nationally-televised.

I believe the Revs have televised every single non nationally-televised league match in their history, which is impressive.

Remember when there were HDNet-only games? And nobody had HDNet?

As of now the 5/4 Fire/Chivas match is only listed as being on ESPN Deportes (which I don't get, either), but Chicago hasn't announced their TV outlet and schedule yet. I don't believe I've ever seen a game only on Deportes.

Do we know what's on ESPN & ESPN2 at that time?

And not that this is much consolation, but the game would likely be available online on ESPN3.

Nope. Not yet. NBA Playoffs, maybe? Does ESPN have NBA playoffs?

This is true. Heck, even last year, I was able to watch the Crew on Direct Kick in Columbus. Hopefully this year, it's the same. Why it's different online is anyone's guess.

The original name of Direct Kick was ESPN/MLS Shootout. After that it was just the MLS Shootout package.
