Sorry to start a thread about this, but does anyone know how I can get Setanta in the US? I used to have it w/ DirecTV, watched Euro2000 on it, but downgraded the package since, and now I want to re-order it, but can't find it. No info on how to get Setanta from Setanta's website, and their contact person never got back to me.

    Help?

Setanta is not meant for individual viewers. Its games are sold to commercial establishments (bars, restaurants). You go to your nearest bar to watch their games. There is a page on Setanta's website to find the nearest bar using your zip code.

Setanta also sublicenses their popular games to a carrier like Directv, dish network or cable as residential PPV. Such games include Euro 2000, FA Cup, England's international games. It also sublicenses the Scottish league to Fox Sports World for delayed broadcast.

Actually, I believe DTV owns the rights and sells some matches to Setanta. If you have DTV, give them a call, they do carry most PPV matches (think they now want $15/match...but I could be wrong)

DTV owns the EPL rights for commercial establishments, which was owned by Setanta before this season. However, if you look at the international menu tomorrow, Setanta owns these games:

    - Ukraine x Spain
    - Poland x Hungary
    - Liechtenstein x England
    - Portugal x Brazil

DTV will only sell the England game. All other are exclusively on close-circuit. Ditto for Scottish league games involving Rangers and Celtic.
