It appears Setanta has got the rights to the games that ESPN2 doesn't show in the US. They are showing all games involving English clubs and also Galatasaray matches for some reason. I guess I have to hope Milan is drawn into a group with an English club in the second group phase because I don't want to play Galatasaray.

Here is Setanta's full North American schedule:

You're worried about the second round draw??

    ROFL .
I would be more concerned about the upcoming games against Deportivo and Bayern Munich in the FIRST round draw.
    Talk about "jumping the gun"...

Milan has Rivaldo this year in addition to Inzhagi and the Shev. So I think they can take on anyone once he settles. (Ok maybe not Gala ;-)

Great news about Setanta showing Galatasaray games though. This is really a dream come true!

Isn't "Shev" out for a couple of months due to injury?

He should be back in mid October. Then Ancellotti will have some tough decisions to make on who sits.

To the best of my knowledge, he's never coughed up. Nor has thepremierleague. Go figure.

Although, to be fair, Jer, he IS right. This is the Group of Death we're talking about here, and there isn't much that you can take for granted, particularly after the first matchday.

This is true. One team that probably deserves advancement just won't make it becasue this group is so tough.

I remember when they drew this group when AC Milan was drawn out of Pot 3, you heard lots of talking amongst the team representatives and the UEFA director said something like "Wow, this is a tough group."

Then they showed the coach of Lens do the sign of the cross when his draw came up, probably praying that he didn't get put in Group G. When he saw he got put in the Group of Death, he looked like he'd just been given a death sentence, and well, at least in the CL sense, he was.

I was just curious, I plan on asking him that in every thread he posts in.

I'm confident that Milan can do good things in the champions league. For some strange reason I'm completely confident that they will advance, and I'm never completely confident of Milan's chances. That has to be some sort of good sign.

It does kind of suck that this is the second first round Group of Death that they've had in a row, though. The last time they were in the Champions' League they had that Leeds/Milan/Barcelona/Besiktas one.

I am pretty sure MIlan will advance, and I want the other team to be Bayern, but right now Bayern is screwed
