For anyone wondering whatever happened to Isreal Sesay (GA star of the future), he will be playing along with former LAG favorites Mike Randolph and Josh Tudela. I know at least some of their games will be played at CSUF which is great for me. Looks like their camp just opened and their first home game is May 1. http://espn.go.com/blog/los-angeles/soccer/post/_/id/6980/l-a-blues-sign-another-former-galaxian
Excited about this, I was talking about Mike Randolph at the airport in Seattle (long story short we were looking at the wait board and picking out which cities had soccer teams). I wonder if Gordon could've/should've tried to play for the Blues?
You think that Toronto FC doesn't pay more than the LA Blues third division team? Unless he has got a side gig in Socal that pays more than his MLS salary (and his coaching gig can't be it), he is better off with the trade then leaving MLS altogether.
We can add Leonard Griffin to the list... http://espn.go.com/blog/los-angeles...4/chivas-loans-chukwudi-chijindu-to-l-a-blues The Blues also plan to announce Wednesday the acquisition of former UCLA star Leonard Griffin (Palmdale/Littlerock HS), 28, a defender who has been with three MLS clubs (Chicago, Columbus and Galaxy) and has played for USL Premier Development sides Orange County Blue Star and Hollywood United. Griffin played for second-tier Austin Aztex last season.
I posted over in the LA Blues thread--I'll probably check out the May 1 match in Fullerton against Antigua Barracuda FC. (who?)
I don't think Sesay will every become a Galaxy player. He looks poor and can't produce in the USL 2nd division
