Is there any article about the famous Moscow game? I mean, about the stuff that happened before the game, not the game itself...
Some games involving AC Milan and Sampdoria were postponed due to other international club matches that they played.
Sorry, I found the Gazzetta grades of this round 33 from the previous season. It was mixed with the 1990-91 season by accident.
Interesting and noteworthy/remarkable how this and also the other thing leads to a split vote. Even though Maradona is clearly seen as the best of his team (unlike the other 'winning' teams or contenders), he only gets 32% of the public vote in the end (though more than Gullit and MvB combined who are at #2 and #3) and also the captains and managers are split (with a declined advantage for Maradona).
Yes this is more like it - maybe even too high - rather than the 7 for the crafty Real Madrid destruction (and a 7.5 + MOTM against the very same team a season later).
And for the 1990 year the IFFHS polls resulted in the top 3 best of the year: https://iffhs.de/history-iffhs-awards-1990/ European footballer and world player of the year was Lothar Matthaus: European ideal team of 1990.
