Just joined EPL fantasy football and was wondering if there is an official Serie A fantasy football league. Does anyone know?

Do you have a link to the Yahoo news? Just this?

    Serie A - Coming soon

In the past, we've had some people play Fantacalcio ( www.fantacalcio.it ) and La Gazzetta dello Sport has an on-line access to its MagicCup game ( http://www.gazzetta.it/magic_cup/index.shtml ). But it's awfully hard without somebody fluent in Italian to interpret the details in the rules. I hope the Yahoo thing comes through. It might be fun.

I'll also probably try to set up a prediction league here again. It sort of petered out last season after a month's worth of people's predictions got lost in the big site crash.

I've played the EPL game for years, but this is my first time with the others.

I'm sure we'll be picking players near the end of the month.

Keep us posted so we can get this thing going. The EPL sounds great and there's only a few days till the start. I also heard that La Liga has one coming through Yahoo as well. I'll have my hands full on Sunday finally. BTW, thanks for the info. Forza Juve!

They are probably waiting for the league to actually kick off just in case there is a strike or something.

Argh! Panic you let me down. It's already started.

Anybody in??? Guess we could start a better late than never division. Or is anybody already in.

BTW, I found this by editing the url I found in the Spanish forum about the liga game. The page above still says "coming soon" for both Italy and Spain.

I just signed up. Thier values are way off. You can get some very good players cheaply and some very bad players expensively.

Just created a BigSoccer division. pw: bigsoccer. Yeah, I wanted DiMichele from Reggina, but he's WAY overvalued right now. I'm not terribly familiar with Yahoo games, but the formation tradeoff seems to be one of value per position. Defenders are way cheaper than offensive players, but you can get better ones for a lower price.

Well, I'm impressed with the lineup I was able to come up with. I got about halfway through my EPL team setup and ran out of money, so I decided I just didn't know enough about mid-level English players to participate.

Yeah, I had the same problem when I played EPL last year. I can't get into into much because outside of the big players I don't know alot about the little clubs. But with this Serie A game I can create a team with the least valued players and still feel like I have a good team. Or maybe it's just that the worst Seria A players are much better than any EPL player ;)

Sign up for both. Doesn't matter at all. I've invited some of my non-Serie A mates as well. We can have up to 100 teams, so the more the merrier.
