I decided to start this a bit early, what can I say? I'm still happy after defeating Inter yesterday. BUT we must not keep our heads up high for too long, Sunday we will be facing Cagliari. Cagliari at the moment are in last, with zero points. Now, normally I would say we have this in the bag. But we have everything in the bag except Cagliari (yes, we even have candy in the bag). Cagliari should be ending their losing streak soon, teams never loose straight for too long. Hopefully they won't beat us, or tie us.

So we definately have to go out there, and PLAY. Will Nesta be fit for this match? He started running today.

    Let the discussion begin.......
    FORZA MILAN!

Shows how much I care about UEFA Cup.
But seriously, maybe a mod can close this until game time?

inzaghi is available again for action.

janks is called as well, no kaladze from his injury, nor borriello, pirlo, or nesta of course.

I hope we go with this

    abbiati
    zambrotta--bonera--maldini--janks
    flamini--seedorf--ambrosini
    kaka-dinho
    pato

if we can I try and give kaka a sub if game is in hand or pato off for inzaghi. continue to give them breaks, then emerson in for seedorf as well possibly cause he has played a ton of late.

Yeah, Seedorf has been playing a lot and so is Ambrosini. SO Rino for Ambro and Sheva for Seedorf as Dinho gets pushed back. Otherwise Emerson if we are winning.

Considering the number of defenders we have injured (Nesta, Senderos, Kaladze, Favalli, and to an extent Jankulovski) if I were Ancelotti I would start Bonera Darmian Maldini Antonini as our defence. Zambrotta has played far too many games in a row, and we can't afford another injured defender. Darmian needs playing time and Maldini could help him a great deal on the pitch. Antonini impressed in his last game versus Zurich and needs to have some consistency if we want to be able to count on him later.

All of that makes sense to me, but Ancelotti isn't really known as experimental and brave.

See, can't afford another ******** up. After we beat Inter the screw up against Cagliaris of the league will be a major step back in our Scudetto hopes. And I hope we hoping for Scudetto and nor for UEFA cup

i cant wait..3 wins in a row on 3 days rest will be nice...id go wit
    the fascist
    antonini maldini bonera janks
    flamini ambro gattuso
    kaka dinho
    sheva
bring in seedorf for dinho or kaka in 60th min, pato for sheva n than maybe emerson later on in game...i think we give sheva a chance to keep going wit his goal streak, let him be rewarded for his goal, bring in pato or inzaghi later on in game...

i think gattuso will play the central midfield role and imo that makes sense. he can get into more tackles from the centre and make his presence stronger felt, which i find important vs. the smaller teams.
in addition seedorf can work on the left flank with janks, which i find also important since we'll probably play christmas-tree.

There is no reason to not start Seedorf.
He is our guy right now, and we dont wanna lose points against a small team AGAIN.

nobody said not start him, but at 32 he will be run into the ground if he keeps playing 75-90 minutes a match twice a week.

i don't worry about him, since the international break is coming up; but if everything goes the right way he's certainly the first one to be subbed.

yeah, that is what I mean, he plays until the game is in doubt, then at the first chance, sub him as soon as possible (if the game goes according to plan)
