Atalanta - Modena 1-1 Maybe Sculli will put one in this time around.
Chievo - Perugia 2-1 Chievo are a surprise team once again.
Empoli - Internazionale 1-2 A tired Inter side edges through victory.
Milan - Udinese 2-0 MIlan ae too good for Udinese.
Parma - Brescia 2-2 Two midtable teams in good form.
Piacenza - Juventus I think this will be a 1-1 tie. Juventus had a pretty mediocre performance Sunday.
Reggina - Lazio 0-2 The new LAzio team gets another three points.
Roma - Como 1-0 Roma sqeaks past COmo for an important victory.
Torino - Bologna 0-2 Torino: Relegation team?

    FORZA INTER!!

    Parma - Brescia 2-1
    Piacenza - Juventus 1-1

I'm going to add a new twist to the Prediction league.

Whoever wins each week, I will use their NEXT weeks picks on one of my tickets for TOTOCALCIO.

If the picks win (HA! yeah right) the winnings will be split :)

He's saying, whoever gets the most points is whom he will entrust with making his picks on Totocalcio, which is a betting service type thing. Am I right?

it's one of the several national soccer "lotteries" here in Italy.

pick winners of the games, you win money. Last weekend no one got the perfect 13-13 which would have been worth more than 3,000,000 Euro. It's basically like one of those parlay cards you can play illegally with bookies back home in the states on NFL and College Football...here you just walk in to any cafe and get a ticket, and fill it out.

Totocalcio is 13 games, they also include some Serie B and C games too, right? Those are randomly selected? Also, do they release to the public the # of people who get 13 of 13 each week? The whole idea of the national lottery based on football results is fascinating to me.

They also have Totogol, right? Thats where you must predict the total number of goals scored in all of serie a for the week?

I guess this totocalcio is like the italian version of the english pools.

However with the pools you had to predict 10 score draws to win the money. The pools isnt as popular now for some reason and the pools men that used to come around to your house to pick up your coupon are now out of a job. :(

Ian McCracken on a roll!! 5-0-1 in my "Lock of the Week" and a remarkable 3-2-1 in "Upset Specials" which, by nature, are almost certain losses. Not that I'm tooting my own horn or anything. ;)
