E' giusto chiedere perche? Perche deve ancora giocare in B? Fisicamente e' gia maturo. Ha giocato benissimo con la Spezia dopo che e' arrivato Donadoni.

In Spagna, Comotto sicuramente troverebbe spazio con una squadra di massima categoria. In Italia? Ancora parliamo di B.

Perchè siamo in Italia, come diceva Allegri prima serie B, poi media di A, poi laurea in fisica quantistica e poi FORSE a 23/24 esordisci in prima squadra (vedere Vergara)

    Yeah, I think it's Pirlo.

Because yesterday Malagò supposedly said an announcement could come as early as today. Given Maldini was just hired I doubt he would get Pep so easily (ie; convincing, raise funds) Written that, Pirlo supposedly is managing in Dubai. How easy or difficult would it be to have him released from his current job?

Can you imagine though, the Pep vs Klopp rivalry continues at the NT level?

    It's gonna be next week

    Giovanni Malagò:

“With Maldini & Leonardo we will have video meetings & I will see them maybe tomorrow in Milan. I give my word of honor that from this afternoon we will work on a shortlist. Announcement next week? I don’t feel like excluding it"

Im not interested in a foreign manager that is loyal to another nation.
Pep is a man on an island so he is unique but we should not be looking to France for a manager.
Why would Deschamps care about Italy?

The day he announced the French 26 he was asked about it and he said "anything is possible" with a smile. (I wrote about it at the time).

Then last week the topic came up again and Mbappè said that it would be a bad idea because "Deschamps belongs to France".

If Deschamps is on Maldini's mind this could explain the "next week" comment.

Congratulated my Spanish friend after 2nd goal. He was far from calm.

I hope every youth coach in Italy are paying attention to this. No need to push for the physical specimens, teach tactics to 8 year olds. Technical skill matters above all. Both Spain and France have it. France more physical and speed. Works for both teams. But Spain oozing skill. Shame on Italy for getting it wrong.

Pirlo is better than having Conte or Allegri...but he's inferior to Mancini or Pep. It's really that simple. Will he spot talent and focus on youth? Probably and that's a good thing. But, I just don't think he has clear tactical ideas.

I saw Mancini with Malagò at the Partita del Cuore:

I'm sure they are already speaking.

There really isn't anything that complicated with Spain. They have good defenders that tightly mark (the opposite of Bastoni). They flood the midfield with skilled players. They pass and move the ball quickly. If they turn it over, they aggressively double/triple team to win it back. It's not rocket science.

You can't convince me that we don't have young Cubarsis or Pedris or even Yamals floating around fields somewhere in Italy. They simply are lost in the pipeline and until we fix that, no CT will matter.

This is my gut feeling as well.

Mancio probably quit his Saudi league job expecting his friend Malagò to get elected and he would be automatic to get the job. Malagò put a wrench in things and hired the guy who's gonna hire the guy.

Maldini's surely not a Yes man so he will listen to Malagò but would probably quit if Malagò demands he hires who he wants.

Malagò probably subtlety pushing for Mancio while Maldini and Leonardo prefer their ex-teamate, Pirlo.
