Albertini would be a great move if he has power. He's much more progressive when it comes to systemic rules to encourage Italian youth players, new stadiums, new systems, better communication mechanisms etc. Mancini we obviously all want because we know he can actually play younger players and build something. Let's pray and hope this rumor is true.
This is a stupid quote. Italy didn't just "stop". We actively made choices to kill our youth. France on the other hand has a mediocre to poor league (other than PSG) so instead of buying players they just pushed their youth systems and had a fresh influx of immigration to supply them an extra pool of youth.
